Where Cayumi comes from

We're Manon and Eduardo, a Belgian-Peruvian couple based in Madrid.

Cayumi started during Christmas 2024, on a trip to Peru to visit Eduardo's family. His brother is an entrepreneur who has always believed in the energy of natural stones. He introduced us to his world, showed us his own collection and took us to a market in Lima to find our own.

We came back with stones, and with something we hadn't expected: a genuine curiosity for what they carry. Back in Madrid, we started gifting stones to the people around us and making personalized bracelets for our friends, our family, and ourselves. What started as something personal slowly became something we wanted to share more widely.

That's when Cayumi was born. Not as healers or spiritual guides, just as two people who find meaning in these stones and want to create pieces that feel personal and intentional.

Cayumi comes from caillou, a word we use in French for a little stone, and rumi, stone in Quechua, the language of the Andes. A small nod to where this all began.

Every piece is handmade by us, with stones chosen for both their beauty and their meaning. Whether you believe in their energy or simply love how they look, we make jewelry for people who want to wear something that means something.
